GYTEC-Africa Organises A 6 Month Web Design Bootcamp

Giddis Youth Technology Empowerment Center for Africa, GYTEC-Africa will from February 8 begin a six-month web designing boot camp.

According to the administration, the web design boot camp is an opportunity for youths to learn how to code from scratch and build professional responsive websites for businesses.

Classes will begin at Giddis Computer Training Center, located at Carrefour Obili, Yaounde. Only 12 places are available with a promotion of 15 percent discounts for the first five to register.

Registration details can be obtained from the administration. For six months, designers were will be drilled on principles of web designing, wired framing with Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Responsive designing, web administration, working with CMS (WordPress) and real projects, and how to start a carrier in web designing will also be in the limelight. It is a certified training program.

Besides that, GYTEC-Africa is currently training youths on graphic designing. For three months, youths will have an overview of graphic designing as well as elements and principles of designing.

At the end of the training, students are expected to have acquired knowledge on logo designing, design for the web, and build a solid portfolio among other things.

GYTEC-Africa exists to create opportunities for African young people by fostering an ecosystem where they can acquire technological & entrepreneurial skills to become innovative problem solvers.
